This season reminded us how powerful life’s moments can be when we pause long enough to really feel them. Some were filled with joy. One of us had the rare gift of marrying the love of his life three times — each ceremony honoring a different culture, place, and chapter, and each one a reminder that commitment is something you choose again and again. Another joyful moment came watching one of our team families finally settle into a new home, where evenings are now spent with three teenagers piled on the couch, popcorn strings being made, sports on TV, and Christmas movies playing in the background…exactly the life they’d hoped to build.

 

Other moments asked us to show up with courage. One team member faced an unexpected layoff, a season filled with uncertainty and hard questions, yet chose gratitude daily, leaning on friends and family to stay grounded through the unknown – and joined our team. Another carried a much heavier weight, standing beside a cousin who lost her two-year-old daughter, sharing in the grief, the silence, and the long road forward…only to later celebrate the fragile, beautiful news that she is pregnant again, expecting another baby girl.

These experiences — joyful and heartbreaking — shape how we care for you and the friends and family you send our way. They remind us that buying or selling a home is not a transaction. It’s happening alongside big life moments, quiet struggles, and hopeful beginnings.
